Namibia U13 Secures 24–8 Victory Over Golden Lions XV at SA Academy Week. Namibia’s Under-13 rugby team delivered an impressive performance at the South African U13 Academy Week, defeating the Golden Lions XV U13 with a final score of 24–8.

The match, played in East London, saw Namibia take early control, heading into halftime with a 7–0 lead. Fullback Gillmer Horn (Windhoek Affies) opened the scoring with a try, followed by a successful conversion. Horn went on to have a standout performance, adding two more conversions and a penalty to his tally.

Namibia’s momentum continued in the second half. Joshua Isaacs, the prop from Roots Gymnasium, powered through for the second try of the match, extending the lead. The final try came from team captain and number 8, Vitjitua Uapingene (Windhoek Gymnasium), sealing a well-earned win for the Namibian side.
