MIRT Showcases Trade and Policy Initiatives at Nkurenkuru Expo 2025

MIRT Showcases Trade and Policy Initiatives at Nkurenkuru Expo 2025. The Ministry of International Relations and Trade (MIRT) is actively participating in the ongoing Nkurenkuru Expo 2025, taking place from 29 June to 05 July 2025. The Ministry has set up an exhibition stand to engage with the public and share insights into its policies, programmes, and international trade initiatives.

The expo, held under the theme “Accelerating Trade and Innovation in a Sustainable Manner through Stakeholders Collaboration and Engagement,” was officially opened on 02 July by the Vice Chairperson of the National Council, Hon. Kauma Victoria Mbao, speaking on behalf of His Excellency Dr. Hifikepunye Pohamba, the patron of the event.

MIRT’s presence at the expo aims to increase public awareness of its work, including Namibia’s trade relations, regional economic integration, and diplomatic engagements. Visitors to the Ministry’s stand will have an opportunity to access information on current trade promotion efforts, international partnerships, and key government strategies designed to support economic growth.

The Nkurenkuru Expo has grown into a key platform for both public and private sector stakeholders to engage with communities and showcase products, services, and developmental projects. With trade and innovation at the heart of this year’s theme, the Ministry’s participation is expected to contribute to ongoing national dialogue around sustainable economic development.

The Ministry invites members of the public, entrepreneurs, and policy stakeholders to engage with its representatives during the course of the expo.
