27 Coaches Earn NFA C License Certification in Rundu

27 Coaches Earn NFA C License Certification in Rundu. A total of 27 aspiring football coaches have successfully graduated with their Namibia Football Association (NFA) C License certification after completing an intensive 10-day training course held in Rundu.

The program, conducted under the NFA’s coaching development framework, focused on enhancing technical knowledge, tactical understanding, and leadership skills among grassroots and semi-professional coaches. Participants underwent both theoretical and practical sessions, aimed at improving their ability to train players effectively and promote structured football development across the country.

The completion of the C License course marks a significant milestone in the NFA’s ongoing efforts to professionalize coaching and strengthen the foundation of Namibian football. Graduates are now qualified to coach youth and amateur teams, contributing to improved player development within local clubs and academies.

The course, delivered by certified NFA instructors, emphasized player-centered coaching methods, fitness management, and modern game analysis techniques. It also introduced participants to ethical and psychological aspects of coaching, ensuring they are equipped to foster both technical growth and character development in their players.

This achievement adds to the growing number of licensed coaches under the NFA’s development strategy, which aims to align local football standards with regional and continental benchmarks.

The association continues to prioritize training opportunities in various regions to ensure more coaches, especially from rural areas, gain access to professional development.
