Top Golfers to Compete in 2025 Nedbank for Good Series Final at Omeya. Namibia’s leading amateur golfers are set to battle for top honours at the 2025 Nedbank for Good Series final, taking place this Friday, 3 October, at Omeya Golf Club.

The final round of the series will tee off at 10:30, bringing together 25 regional winners from across the country. Players from Omeya, Oranjemund, Gobabis, Okahandja, Mariental, Oshakati, Grootfontein, Outjo, Henties Bay, Swakopmund, Walvis Bay, and Windhoek have secured their spots, promising a highly competitive showdown.

The event will culminate in a prize-giving ceremony at 18:00, where winners will be announced. The ceremony will also reveal the total amount raised during this year’s series for its designated beneficiary, Agra ProVision, an organisation dedicated to supporting agricultural communities with training and resources.

Series organiser Dan Zwiebel reflected on the tournament’s growth. He highlighted that this year, three new venues were added, making it the first time all 13 registered golf courses in Namibia participated. “Seeing smaller communities embrace the series and invest in their golf courses was a highlight for us,” he said.

Nedbank Namibia’s Chief Commercial Officer, JG van Graan, commended the finalists, describing them as winners regardless of the outcome. He also underlined the importance of the charitable component, noting its direct impact on sustainable development in underserved agricultural areas.

Now in its sixth year, the Nedbank for Good Series has built a strong reputation as both a competitive sporting event and a driver of community support. The 2025 final promises not only a thrilling day of golf but also another milestone in the series’ contribution to Namibian society.
