Partners Deliver New Facilities to Support Learners at Golden Hills Primary SSchool. A collaborative community initiative has delivered new support infrastructure to learners at Golden Hills Primary School, providing additional resources for a school community currently operating under temporary conditions.

The project was led by Capricorn ChangeMakers in partnership with Neo Paints Namibia, Transworld Cargo and Integrated Branding. Together, the partners provided a fully converted container to serve as a dedicated office and storage space for the school.

The initiative supports more than 700 learners based in the Havana informal settlement, many of whom continue to attend classes in temporary tented facilities. The container installation aims to provide secure space for administrative functions and essential school materials.

In addition to the structure, the project delivered equipment and supplies including a printer, stationery and other learning support materials. Volunteers also contributed time to prepare the facility, painting and organising the space to make it ready for daily use.

The day included engagement activities with learners, with volunteers sharing meals and interacting with the school community as part of the handover process.

Organisers described the effort as a coordinated response designed to address practical needs while supporting the school environment. The converted container now serves as a functional resource for staff and learners as educational activities continue under temporary arrangements.

The initiative reflects ongoing community involvement in education support within Namibia, where partnerships between organisations and volunteers contribute to resource provision for schools facing infrastructure challenges.P
