Okahandja Tourism and Trade Expo 2025 Officially Launched. The much-anticipated Okahandja Tourism and Trade Expo 2025 was officially launched on April 3, 2025, by Deputy Minister of International Relations and Trade, Hon. Jenelly Matundu. This marks the revival of the event after a period of absence, under the theme “Reviving Okahandja Expo: Empowering Entrepreneurship through Innovation.”

Scheduled to take place from April 29 to May 3, 2025, the expo aims to promote local businesses, showcase innovation, and create valuable networking opportunities. The event will provide a platform for entrepreneurs, small businesses, and corporate entities to display their products and services, fostering economic growth in Okahandja and beyond.

The expo will feature business exhibitions, tourism showcases, panel discussions, and youth empowerment initiatives, aligning with efforts to encourage innovation and sustainability. Special focus will be placed on young entrepreneurs, providing them with the necessary exposure to develop and grow their businesses.

Speaking at the launch, Hon. Matundu emphasized the importance of the expo in boosting local entrepreneurship and innovation. She highlighted that trade expos serve as critical economic drivers, connecting businesses with potential investors and markets.
