NFA Suspends Young African FC Coach Pending Disciplinary Process

NFA Suspends Young African FC Coach Pending Disciplinary Process. The Namibia Football Association (NFA) has provisionally suspended Young African FC head coach Maleagi Ngarizemo following allegations of misconduct during a Premier League match against Blue Waters on 3 May 2025.

According to the NFA, the coach is accused of physically assaulting match officials and refusing to leave the pitch after receiving a red card. The incident reportedly disrupted match proceedings and raised serious concerns over conduct and respect for officials in the local football scene.

As a result, Ngarizemo has been barred from participating in all football-related activities under the jurisdiction of the NFA until further notice. The association confirmed that a disciplinary process is underway and that due process will be followed in line with the regulations governing the sport.

The NFA has directed Ngarizemo to provide a formal written response to the allegations by no later than 17h00 on Friday, 30 May 2025. His statement will be considered as part of the broader disciplinary review aimed at determining the appropriate course of action.

While the matter remains under investigation, the suspension stands as a reminder of the expectations placed on team officials and coaches to uphold discipline, integrity, and professionalism both on and off the field.
