NamPower Donates Sports Equipment to Baller Boys Football Academy. In a bid to support youth development through sports, NamPower has donated N$5,000 worth of sports equipment to the Baller Boys Football Academy, an initiative that provides training opportunities for young footballers from underprivileged backgrounds.
The academy, based in Katutura, engages over 70 children, offering them a structured environment to develop their football skills, discipline, and teamwork, while keeping them positively engaged.
Speaking at the handover ceremony, Pinehas Nambahu, director of the academy, expressed gratitude for NamPower’s support, emphasizing the impact it will have on the young players. “This donation will directly enhance the training experience for our players and help us create a positive environment for their growth and development,” Nambahu stated.
He also called on other stakeholders to support initiatives that empower young people through sports. “By supporting Baller Boys Football Academy, you are not just investing in the future of these talented players, but also making a difference in our community,” he added.
