Namibian Artists Invited to Submit Works for Bank Windhoek Triennial 2025. Visual artists across Namibia are invited to apply for the prestigious Bank Windhoek Triennial 2025, a major national art event celebrating Namibian creativity and cultural identity. Applications officially opened on 20 May 2025, offering artists a chance to engage with the theme: “Namibian Identity: The Linework of a Country’s Contours and Wealth.”
Organised in collaboration with the National Art Gallery of Namibia (NAGN), the Triennial provides a platform for artists to interpret and express what it means to be Namibian through various forms of visual art. Submissions are open until 27 May 2026, giving creators ample time to produce and submit original works that reflect the country’s landscapes, traditions, histories, and future aspirations.
The exhibition will launch on 6 August 2026 at 18h00, showcasing selected works to the public. The event is widely regarded as one of the most significant in the country’s visual arts calendar, attracting seasoned and emerging artists from all regions.
