Namibia Tourism Board Opens Applications for MATKA 2026 Participation. The Namibia Tourism Board (NTB) has announced that applications are now open for registered trade partners interested in participating in MATKA 2026, one of the leading travel industry events in the Nordic region.
The international travel fair will take place from 15 to 18 January 2026 in Helsinki, Finland, providing a strategic platform for Namibia’s tourism stakeholders to showcase offerings to global buyers, tour operators, and travel enthusiasts.
NTB has encouraged all eligible and registered trade partners to download the official application form via its website: www.visitnamibia.com.na. Early registration is advised, as space is limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
MATKA is recognized as one of the largest travel trade events in Northern Europe, drawing thousands of exhibitors and visitors from across the globe. Participation offers Namibian tourism businesses, ranging from lodges and tour companies to destination marketers, a unique chance to build international connections, promote Namibian travel experiences, and contribute to national tourism growth.
The Namibia Tourism Board’s presence at MATKA reflects its ongoing commitment to strengthening the country’s visibility in new markets, particularly in Europe, where interest in nature-based and cultural travel continues to rise.
