Namdeb Invites Bids for Solar Power Systems to Enhance Sustainability. Namdeb Diamond Corporation (Pty) Ltd has issued a Request for Information (RFI) inviting service providers to design, construct, own, operate, and maintain solar photovoltaic (PV) systems at its facilities. The initiative aligns with Namdeb’s commitment to sustainable energy solutions and operational efficiency.

The company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Namdeb Holdings (Pty) Ltd, is a key player in land-based diamond prospecting, mining, and rehabilitation. With this tender, Namdeb seeks to explore financing models such as leases and power purchase agreements for on-grid solar power solutions.

According to the scope of works outlined in the RFI (Enquiry No. E007-ND-2025), Namdeb is looking for reputable and qualified service providers to offer end-to-end solutions. These include site assessments, system design, procurement, installation, operations, maintenance, and performance monitoring. Prospective bidders must demonstrate a track record of similar projects, supported by appropriate references with contact details.

The deadline for submissions is 16:00 (CAT) on Tuesday, 22 April 2025, and late submissions will not be accepted.
