NAMCOR Addresses Employee Resignation Speculations. The National Petroleum Corporation of Namibia (NAMCOR) has issued a statement clarifying recent reports about the resignation of five employees, urging the public to avoid speculation and misinformation.
In response to social media discussions regarding the departure of Damoline Muruko, Ilda Dos Santos, Isabel Mwazi, Mapenzie Festus, and Khonzani Tizora, NAMCOR emphasized that the resignations were voluntary and not linked to any investigations, malpractices, or business transactions. The company reaffirmed that the individuals made personal and professional decisions to pursue new opportunities after years of service.
“As per our standard internal communication practice, NAMCOR announces new employee recruitment and departures to staff as a matter of courtesy and transparency. Unfortunately, social media commentators picked up on this routine announcement and sensationalized it,” the statement read.
NAMCOR further clarified that the employees resigned at different times throughout the year, with varying notice periods depending on their positions. The corporation expressed gratitude for their contributions to both NAMCOR and Namibia’s petroleum industry.
The company urged stakeholders to rely on verified information and avoid circulating baseless allegations that could harm reputations.
