NAMCOL Recognizes DYCD Survey Participants with MTC Voucher Awards

NAMCOL Recognizes DYCD Survey Participants with MTC Voucher Awards. The Namibian College of Open Learning (NAMCOL) has announced the winners of the 2024 Diploma in Youth and Community Development (DYCD) Study Material Evaluation Survey, celebrating participants who contributed valuable feedback to the institution’s annual review process.

The survey, which gathers insights from both students and tutors, is an essential part of NAMCOL’s efforts to enhance the quality and relevance of its educational content. By evaluating the effectiveness of study materials used in the DYCD programme, NAMCOL aims to improve learner support and course delivery across the country.

On March 26, 2025, a prize draw was held to recognize survey participants, with three winners selected from different regions of Namibia. Each winner received a N$200 MTC voucher in appreciation of their participation.

Among the winners was Mr. Jambo Shipanga from the Khomas Region, who serves as a tutor-marker in the DYCD programme. He was presented with his voucher by Mr. Phillip Kambonde, Manager of Enterprise Development at NAMCOL.

The survey initiative not only supports NAMCOL’s commitment to continuous improvement but also encourages active engagement from both learners and academic staff. Feedback collected through the survey helps shape future updates to study materials and ensures that the programme remains aligned with the needs of Namibian youth and communities.

NAMCOL extended its gratitude to all who participated in the survey and encouraged continued involvement in quality assurance processes. The College reiterated its dedication to providing accessible, responsive, and high-quality education to support national development goals.
