Namibian midfielder Moses Shidolo has been named the Supporters’ Player of the Season following an impressive debut campaign with Matebele FC. The announcement was made after the club conducted a fan-driven voting process, where Shidolo emerged as the top choice among supporters.
The captain, who joined the Botswana-based side from Chula Chula FC, quickly made his mark through consistent performances in midfield, leadership on and off the field, and a relentless work ethic that resonated with the fanbase. His efforts did not go unnoticed, as he secured the majority of the votes cast by Matebele FC supporters.
As part of the recognition, Shidolo received a cash prize of N$33,296 (equivalent to P25,000). The award celebrates not only his individual brilliance but also the connection he has fostered with fans during his first season in Botswana football.
