Hollard Clinches Dominant Victory in 2025 Windhoek Power Pedal Series Finale. Team Hollard delivered a commanding performance in the 2025 Nedbank Windhoek Power Pedal (WPP) Race Series, securing victories across all major categories in the season’s final showdown held on Sunday, 11 May, at the Heroes Acre Bridge.
Cyclists Jacques Hanekom and Anri Greeff led the charge, claiming top honours in the overall men’s and women’s individual standings respectively. Their wins also propelled Hollard to first place in both team categories, marking a clean sweep for the insurance-backed cycling team.
Hanekom, backed by a strong team effort throughout the series, concluded the final race with a winning time of 2 hours, 34 minutes, and 10 seconds (02:34:10). The result secured him third in the overall standings but played a decisive role in Hollard’s cumulative team triumph.
Greeff, continuing her consistent performance throughout the season, secured the top spot in the women’s individual category, reinforcing Hollard’s dominance in this year’s competition.
The final race brought the curtain down on the six-race WPP series, a key fixture on Namibia’s competitive cycling calendar. Organized by Nedbank Namibia, the series is known for its challenging routes and strong field of amateur and professional cyclists.
Hollard’s success underscores the importance of teamwork, endurance, and consistent performance across the season. The team’s ability to maintain form and strategy throughout the WPP series played a critical role in their across-the-board victories.
