Gondwana Collection and Westair Aviation Estalblish Air Service. Gondwana Collection Namibia has teamed up with Westair Aviation to introduce the “Fly-in Zambezi” service, a new luxury travel offering aimed at improving air connectivity within the Zambezi Region of Namibia.
This service offers smooth air transfers to premium lodges, including Gondwana’s Namushasha River Villa and Zambezi Mubala Lodge, along with connections to popular destinations like Victoria Falls, Kasane, and Maun.
Travelers have the option of scheduled flights three times a week or private charters, providing more flexibility and convenience. The initiative seeks to elevate luxury travel experiences in Namibia’s northeastern region.
The flights will be operated by a Cessna Grand Caravan stationed in Katima Mulilo, running from July to November. This service caters to high-end safari travelers, offering a comfortable and scenic alternative to long road journeys. Passengers can enjoy breathtaking aerial views while maximizing their time exploring Southern Africa’s rich landscapes and wildlife.
The partnership between Gondwana and Westair is a 50/50 joint venture, combining their expertise to offer exceptional travel experiences. While Westair Aviation will manage the operational side, the Gondwana Travel Centre will handle booking and integration into its travel packages.
