FNB Insurance and LEFA Launch Ride Voucher Partnership to Promote Road Safety

FNB Insurance and LEFA Launch Ride Voucher Partnership to Promote Road Safety. FNB Insurance has joined forces with local ride-hailing service LEFA in a new initiative aimed at promoting road safety and providing added value to its car insurance customers. The partnership, officially launched at a media briefing held in Windhoek, highlights a shared commitment to safer and more accessible transportation solutions in Namibia.

Announcing the collaboration, FNB Insurance Chief Executive Officer Georg Garrels stated that all FNB car insurance clients will now receive LEFA ride vouchers valid for two trips within Windhoek. The vouchers will be distributed every two months, reinforcing the company’s long-term goal of reducing road risks while improving customer experience.

This partnership encourages customers to opt for safer, reliable transport options — especially during times when driving may not be ideal. To redeem the benefit, clients can simply copy and paste the voucher code into the “PROMO” section of the LEFA app during checkout.

LEFA, which continues to expand its footprint in urban mobility, welcomed the collaboration, calling it a step forward in making local travel smarter and safer. The ride-hailing platform’s growing user base reflects increasing public interest in flexible, app-based transport alternatives.

By offering these bi-monthly vouchers, FNB Insurance not only enhances its service offering but also plays a proactive role in reducing accidents related to impaired or unsafe driving.
