Enterprising Spirit Shines at 2025 Good Business & Innovation Awards in Namibia. The Development Bank of Namibia (DBN) honoured some of the country’s most promising and impactful businesses at the 2025 Good Business & Innovation Awards, held last night at the Windhoek Country Club and Resort.
Recognising excellence across small to large enterprises and standout innovation, the event drew a diverse group of entrepreneurs, stakeholders, and leaders in business and development.
In the SME Category, Blue Crane Safaris Namibia CC claimed the top honour, with Ongula Homestead Group earning the position of first runner-up. The Large Enterprise Award went to OLC Arandis Solar Energy Corporation, while Quanta Holdings (Pty) Ltd took the runner-up spot.
A highlight of the evening was the Innovation Award, where Lizwise Investment emerged as the winner for its unique Mahangu Pasta—a locally inspired food product. Wapa-Nawa Recycling Centre and AUDAX Coatings were named first and second runners-up respectively in this category.
Cash prizes were awarded as follows:
- N$150,000 for the SME category
- N$250,000 for the Large Enterprise category
- N$400,000 for the Innovation Award
In a statement, DBN reaffirmed its commitment to fostering sustainable development through support for entrepreneurship and innovation, expressing appreciation for all participants, partners, and dignitaries who contributed to the event’s success.
The Good Business & Innovation Awards continue to serve as a platform to highlight Namibian ingenuity and enterprise across sectors, reinforcing DBN’s broader mission of enabling economic transformation through development finance.
