Deputy Minister Ballotti Engages Grassroots Sport Leaders in Eenhana. Deputy Minister of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sport, Arts and Culture, Hon. Dino Ballotti, visited Eenhana on Wednesday as part of a regional outreach to deepen collaboration with local sport stakeholders and assess the progress of grassroots sport initiatives.
The visit aimed to strengthen communication between the Ministry and regional sport structures, with a focus on identifying both challenges and opportunities in community-level sports development. During the engagement, regional sport officers and coaches presented updates on various ongoing activities, including participation levels, youth engagement, and local achievements in different sporting disciplines.
Hon. Ballotti commended the efforts of regional sport personnel for their dedication and emphasized the Ministry’s commitment to creating inclusive, community-based sport development platforms. He reiterated the importance of sport as a tool for youth empowerment, health promotion, and national unity.
