Caltex Returns to Namibia with Launch of Windhoek Service Station

Caltex Returns to Namibia with Launch of Windhoek Service Station. Bachmus Oil and Fuel Supplies (Pty) Ltd has officially reintroduced the Caltex brand to Namibia with the opening of a newly branded service station in Windhoek’s Southern Industrial area. This marks the first Caltex-branded station in the country under the new partnership between Bachmus and Chevron.

The station now offers Caltex’s premium fuels, including Techron®-enhanced fuel designed to improve engine efficiency and performance. Alongside fuel, the site provides a range of lubricants and convenience retail products, signaling a modernized approach to customer service in Namibia’s fuel sector.

Corne Schalkwyk, Managing Director of Bachmus, described the launch as a significant milestone for the company, calling it a “proud and historic moment.” He said the Caltex brand’s return is aligned with Bachmus’s focus on service excellence, quality products, and local business development. Bachmus has announced plans to establish additional Caltex-branded outlets throughout Namibia in the coming years.

Chevron representative Danielle Lincoln emphasized the importance of the collaboration in strengthening regional energy supply and positioning Caltex as a trusted and high-quality fuel brand in the Namibian market. She added that the partnership will contribute to economic growth through expanded infrastructure and job creation.

The launch event underlined both companies’ shared goal of improving service standards within Namibia’s fuel retail industry while investing in long-term development. The reintroduction of Caltex also reflects increasing confidence in the country’s energy sector and supports efforts to diversify local fuel offerings.
