Agribank and NUST to Host Free Evening Lectures on Agriculture. Agribank, in collaboration with the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST), will host a series of free evening lectures in Windhoek aimed at enhancing agricultural knowledge and skills. The sessions, scheduled for early April, will cover key topics relevant to farmers and agricultural enthusiasts.
The first lecture, taking place on April 1, 2025, will focus on the Basics of Rangeland Management. This session will provide insights into sustainable grazing practices, land conservation techniques, and strategies to improve livestock productivity while preserving Namibia’s natural rangelands.
On April 3, 2025, the second lecture will explore Winter Vegetables, offering valuable guidance on crop selection, soil preparation, irrigation methods, and pest management to ensure successful cultivation during the colder months.
These lectures are open to the public and offer a valuable opportunity for farmers, students, and agricultural professionals to learn from experts in the field. By providing free access to specialized knowledge, Agribank and NUST aim to support sustainable agricultural practices and contribute to Namibia’s food security efforts.
