African Leadership Centre Opens Applications for 2025/26 Fellowships in Peace, Security, and DDevelopment. The African Leadership Centre (ALC) has officially opened applications for its 2025/2026 Peace, Security & Development Fellowships and Associate Fellowships, inviting emerging African leaders and scholars from the Global South to apply before the 18 May deadline.
Designed to cultivate a new generation of thinkers and practitioners, the ALC fellowships offer fully-funded and partially funded opportunities to individuals committed to advancing peace, security, and development across the continent and the broader Global South.
The flagship Peace & Security Fellowship for African Scholars offers full funding for qualified applicants, covering tuition, living expenses, and mentorship. Additionally, Associate Fellowships are available for candidates applying to the MSc in Global Leadership & Peacebuilding at King’s College London, providing tuition bursaries and living stipends.
The programme includes tailored academic and professional support, practical training, and placements with both African and international institutions. Fellows engage with a diverse and interdisciplinary community, gaining critical insights into global policy, leadership dynamics, and conflict resolution.
The ALC’s initiative continues to contribute to strengthening African and Global South leadership capacity in fields essential to sustainable development and security governance.
Applications are now being accepted online via the ALC website, with detailed eligibility criteria and application requirements available at:https://www.africanleadershipcentre.org/news/call-for-applications
