Namibia Berries Opens Opportunity for Beekeepers Ahead of June Pollination Season. Namibia Berries is calling on local beekeepers to support its upcoming pollination season, offering an opportunity for small-scale apiarists to lease their hives to the berry producer in June 2025.
The call is specifically directed at Namibians who own five or more active beehives and are able to transport and maintain them on-site in Divundu during the pollination period. This opportunity forms part of Namibia Berries’ efforts to enhance pollination in its berry fields, which is a critical factor in improving yield and quality.
Interested beekeepers must meet the following criteria:Own at least five active hives.Have the capacity to transport and manage the hives at the production site.Be available to participate during the pollination window in June 2025.
Applications close at 17:00 on 09 June 2025. The application link and contact details are provided via the Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board (NIPDB), which is acting as a facilitator in the process. It is important to note that the NIPDB is not a party to any resulting agreements — all arrangements will be made directly between the beekeepers and Namibia Berries.
