NUST Launches Africa’s First Bloomberg Finance Lab to Advance Financial Education. The Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST), in collaboration with MTC and the Namibia Investment and Finance Academy (NIFA), has officially launched Africa’s first Bloomberg Finance Lab. This cutting-edge facility provides students and finance professionals with real-time access to global financial markets, revolutionizing financial education in Namibia.
NUST Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Erold Naomab, underscored the importance of bridging the gap between theory and practice. “This state-of-the-art facility ensures our graduates are competitive on a global scale, equipping them with skills in analytics, investment, and risk management,” he said.
The Bloomberg Finance Lab will provide hands-on training in financial modeling, data analysis, and risk assessment, giving students a competitive edge in the job market. The initiative marks a significant step in Namibia’s efforts to develop a highly skilled workforce and strengthen its financial sector.
