Namibia Wildlife Resorts Issues Fuel Shortage Advisory for Key Destinations. Namibia Wildlife Resorts (NWR) has issued an important travel advisory, notifying visitors that fuel is currently unavailable at several of its key resorts. The affected locations include Halali Resort, Okaukuejo Resort, Terrace Bay Resort, Sesriem Campsite, and /Ai /Ais Hotsprings & Spa.
The announcement urges travelers to plan their journeys accordingly and ensure they have adequate fuel before heading to these destinations. Given the remote nature of many of these resorts, access to fuel can be critical for travelers, particularly those exploring Namibia’s national parks and conservation areas.
NWR’s advisory is especially relevant to tourists visiting Etosha National Park, where Halali and Okaukuejo Resorts are among the most frequented accommodations. Similarly, Sesriem Campsite serves as a gateway to the iconic Sossusvlei dunes, while Terrace Bay Resort is a key stop along the Skeleton Coast. The /Ai /Ais Hotsprings & Spa, located in the south near the Fish River Canyon, is also a popular retreat.
With the lack of on-site fuel, visitors are advised to fill up at the nearest available petrol stations before entering these areas. NWR has not provided an estimated timeframe for fuel resupply, so travelers should remain informed of updates.
