GIPF Urges Beneficiaries to Complete Biometric Verification Before Deadline

GIPF Urges Beneficiaries to Complete Biometric Verification Before Deadline. The Government Institutions Pension Fund (GIPF) has announced that pensioners, as well as beneficiaries of children and spouses, must complete biometric verification to ensure the timely disbursement of benefits.

The verification process, which ends on February 28, 2025, is necessary to confirm beneficiaries’ eligibility.

To meet the deadline, beneficiaries can either visit GIPF offices nationwide or use the newly introduced mobile verification app. GIPF emphasized that any unverified individuals will have their benefit payments suspended after the cut-off date. Verification will be required three times a year: from March to June, July to October, and November to February.

This biometric system aims to ensure that benefits are paid accurately and promptly to rightful recipients.
